CUET UG Eligibility Criteria for Different Courses in Allahabad University

The eligibility criteria for all CUET UG 2026 courses at Allahabad University are given below. (Suppose someone has not taken the exam for a particular subject; they would still remain eligible for admission, but a score of zero would be counted for that subject.)

Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) :-

1. English or Hindi is compulsory 
2. General Aptitude Test is compulsory
3. Any ONE of the following domain subjects
(Accountancy/Book Keeping, Physics, Chemistry, 
Mathematics, Computer Science, Biology/ Biological Studies/ 
Biotechnology /Biochemistry, Environmental Studies / Environmental 
Science, Business Studies)

Eligibility :-

Passed 10+2 or equivalent in Commerce or Science stream of the Intermediate 
Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/C.B.S.E. /I.C.S.E. or any examination by any 
State Board.



Five Year Integrated Programme in Family & Community Sciences :-

1. English or Hindi is compulsory 
2. General Aptitude Test is compulsory 
3. Any ONE of the following domain subjects 
(Home Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biological Studies/ 
Biotechnology /Biochemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, 
Environmental Studies / Environmental Science)

Eligibility :-

Only Female applicants: who have passed 10+2 or equivalent at the Intermediate 
Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/C.B.S.E./I.C.S.E. or an equivalent examination 
either with (a) Science Group, or (b) With any other Group having Home Science as one 
of the subjects



Bachelor of Science (Maths Group) BSC :-

1. English or Hindi is compulsory 
2. General Aptitude Test is compulsory 
3. Any ONE of the following domain subjects 
(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science / Information 
Practices, Geography / Geology, 
Environmental Studies / Environmental Science)

Eligibility :-

Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics of the Intermediate 
Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/C.B.S.E./I.C.S.E. or an examination by any 
State Board



BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) :-

1. English or Hindi is compulsory 
2. General Aptitude Test is compulsory 
3. Any ONE of the following domain subjects 
(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science / Information 
Practices, Geography / Geology, 
Environmental Studies / Environmental Science)

Eligibility :-

Passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board in Science / Commerce Stream. In 
case the student has passed class 10+2 from a recognized board other than the Science / 
Commerce, he/she must have studied Mathematics / Statistics / Information Technology / 
Computer Science / Information Science as one of the subjects in 10+2.



BCA & MCA (Data Science) :-

1. English or Hindi is compulsory 
2. General Aptitude Test is compulsory 
3. Any ONE of the following domain subjects 
(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science / Information 
Practices, Geography / Geology, 
Environmental Studies / Environmental Science)

Eligibility :-

Passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board in Science / Commerce Stream. In 
case the student has passed class 10+2 from a recognised board other than the Science / 
Commerce, he/she must have studied Mathematics / Statistics / Information Technology / 
Computer Science / Information Science as one of the subjects in 10+2.



BVoc (Software Development) :-

1. English or Hindi is compulsory 
2. General Aptitude Test is compulsory 
3. Any ONE of the following domain subjects 
(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science / Information 
Practices, Geography / Geology, 
Environmental Studies / Environmental Science)

Eligibility :-

Passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board in Science / Commerce Stream. In 
case the student has passed class 10+2 from a recognised board other than the Science / 
Commerce, he/she must have studied Mathematics / Statistics / Information Technology / 
Computer Science / Information Science as one of the subjects in 10+2.



Bachelor of Science (Biology Group) BSC :-

1. English or Hindi is compulsory 
2. General Aptitude Test is compulsory 
3. Any ONE of the following domain subjects
(Biology/ Biological Studies/ Biotechnology /Biochemistry, Physics, 
Chemistry, Anthropology, Environmental Studies / Environmental 
Science)

Eligibility :-

Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology of the Intermediate 
Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/C.B.S.E./I.C.S.E. or an examination by any 
State Board.



BVoc (Food Processing and Technology) :-

1. English or Hindi is compulsory 
2. General Aptitude Test is compulsory 
3. Any ONE of the following domain subjects
(Biology/ Biological Studies/ Biotechnology /Biochemistry, Physics, 
Chemistry, Anthropology, Environmental Studies / Environmental 
Science)

Eligibility :-

10+2 in science stream (PCB/PCBM/ PCM)/ 10+2 with Agriculture



Bachelor of Arts (BA) :-

1. English or Hindi is compulsory 
2. General Aptitude Test is compulsory 
3. Any ONE of the following domain subjects 
(Accountancy / Book Keeping, Agriculture, Anthropology, Biology/ 
Biological Studies/ Biotechnology /Biochemistry, Business Studies,

Eligibility :-

Passed an examination in 10+2 or 11+1 course of schooling recognized by the Academic 
Council of the University or equivalent to 10+2 or 11+1 courses recognised by the Bar 
Council of India, and who have secured 45% marks in case of general, 42% in case of 
OBC and 40% for SC/ST, in the qualifying examination



Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) :- 

1. English or Hindi is compulsory 
2. General Aptitude Test is compulsory 
3. Any ONE of the following domain subjects 
(Accountancy / Book Keeping, Agriculture, Anthropology, Biology/ 
Biological Studies/ Biotechnology /Biochemistry, Business Studies, 
Chemistry, Environmental Studies, Computer Science / Informatics 
Practices, Economics / Business Economics, Fine Arts , Geography /

2. General Aptitude Test is compulsory 
3. Any ONE of the following domain subjects
